Technical Architecture and Specifications
An overview of the Bansoft application stack, logical architecture, deployment components, interface characteristics, and technical review boundaries.
Documented technology overview
Bansoft is a browser-based banking platform built around a web application, application logic, and relational data layer.
Interface layer
Responsive HTML and CSS with JavaScript support modern browser access for administrator and user interfaces across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Application layer
The documented application stack uses PHP 8.x with common extensions and a web server such as Apache HTTP Server or Nginx.
Data layer
A MySQL or MariaDB relational database stores structured user, account, transaction, configuration, and audit information.
Three-tier separation
- Web interface: user and administrator access through modern browsers.
- Application logic: banking workflows, permissions, validation, reporting, and integration processing.
- Data layer: relational storage with restricted network access and managed backup controls.
Environment requirements
- Linux is recommended for server deployments; Windows Server may be possible by scope
- Apache or Nginx with PHP support
- MySQL or MariaDB database engine
- Outbound SMTP relay for system notifications
- Valid TLS certificate for HTTPS
Platform characteristics
These characteristics are configured according to the agreed deployment.
Browser-based access
Modern browser access reduces workstation-specific installation requirements and supports remote administration under controlled access policies.
Responsive interface
Interfaces are designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile viewing. A WebView application can be evaluated for iOS and Android distribution.
Localization
UTF-8 data handling, regional formats, time settings, configurable currencies, and multi-language capability support multi-region deployments.
Reporting output
Configured areas can support print, PDF, spreadsheet, and email output for reports and documents.
Secure sessions
HTTPS, session timeouts, access controls, and configurable authentication options support secure application access.
Integration layer
SOAP web services provide controlled external access to selected user, account, transaction, and compliance functions.
Technical versions are deployment-specific
Minimum versions and supported components should be confirmed during deployment planning. Production environments should use supported software versions and current security updates compatible with the Bansoft release being deployed.
Architecture does not define the complete solution
Capacity, high availability, disaster recovery, integrations, data migration, monitoring, and security hardening require institution-specific design and commercial scope.
